Tulin kesäksi takaisin.

 Heips kaikille sydänkäpysille ja syvimmät pahoitteluni kuukauden hiljaiselosta. Alkukesä on ollut ja on oman aikatauluni mukaan hyvin kiireistä aikaa, joten hetkeä, jolloin olisin voinut vaan rauhassa istahtaa koneen ääreen kuvia muokkailemaan kirjoittamaan ei ole tuntunut irtoavan.

Muutama päivä ennen koulujen virallista päätöspäivää suuntasin matkani Kokkolaan auttelemaan Nillan yo-juhlien valmisteluissa ja ihan muuten vaan makoilemaan. Itse juhlapäivä oli meille molemmille odotettua raskaampi, vieraiden vihdoin lähtiessä rojahdettiin heti sänkyyn, sosiaalinen kanssakäyminen on niin rankkaa! Jokin aavistus mulla on, että tämän tytön yo-juhlien jatkot taitaa ainakin jäädä laimeiksi parin vuoden kuluttua :D

Hello dears and my deepest apologies for the silence that took over my blog for a month. My summer starteed very busily so I hardly had any time to just sit down and edit photos and write! Anyways a few days before the official school's over -day I packed my belongings and headed to Kokkola to help with the preparations for Nilla's graduating party. The day itself was harder and more tiring than we thought for both of us, when the guests left we immediately crawled under the covers and took at least a three hour long nap. Being social is so tiring!

Päivän lookki jonka nimi oli pukeudu-kevyesti-ähäkutti-kuolet-kuitenkin-kuumuuteen...Kulmakarvoista saatatte ehkä huomata että ne ovat tavallista hieman luonnollisemmat ja alempana, tämä johtuu siitä että olen kovasti kasvattelemassa niitä takaisin! Ajattelin, että luonnollisempi vaihtoehto olisi helpompi kesällä mutta toistaiseksi en ole vielä kovasti lämmennyt näille. Katsotaan miten käy (mutta muistatte varmaan miten siinä minun etuhiusten kasvattamisprojektissa kävi...)

The day's look which was called dress-light-or-you'll-die-wait-you'll-die-anyway...As you might notice my brows are a bit more natural than usual, the arch is a bit lower and they have more hair, haha. I'm actually trying to grow them back, I thought this option might be a bit easier to maintain during the summer but so far I dunno if it's really my cup of tea...We'll see what happens (though you might remember how my "let's grow my bangs out" -project went, not so well..)

Kaksi viikkoa siellä pohjanmaalla sitten kuluikin, tulin eilen kotiin ja olo on tyhjä kuten aina. Kuumat kesäpäivät kului tallilla autellessa ja hepostellessa, rannalla makoillessa, nukkejuttuja suunnitellessa ja ihaillessa ja herkutellessa noin muutaman aktiviteeteista mainitakseni.

 I stayed two weeks with Nilla and came back to my place yesterday, I feel so empty :c (well, as always) The days together just flew by as we took care of the horses, layed on the beach, browsed through bjd stuff and ate all things sweet

Kesän odotetuimpia hetkiä on se kun pääsee vohvelikahvilaan! Menkää ihmeessä tekin jos tuolle suunnalle kesällä eksytte, varsin makoisia vohveleita sekä makeina että suolaisina ja hyvä päivä on taattu ♥

Uusissa tamineissa pääsin myös hieman kamerahuorailemaan yksi päivä kun Nilla kiltisti lupasi kuvata ♥ Sitä aina suomalaiset valittaa, että talvella on kamala ottaa kuvia kun luonnonvaloa ei näy ja myönnän itsekin sortuvani tähän sadatteluun mutta myös kesällä voi olla hyvinkin hankalaa! Ei meinattu mistään löytää paikkaa, jossa olisi valoa tarpeeksi mutta ei liikaa...

I got to show off my new materia to the camera also when Nilla agreed to take some photos with me ♥ It's funny how finnish people always complain how there's newer enough sunlight during the winter but you know actually very lighted environment can be tricky when taking photos also! Too much light creates awful shadows...

 

 

Uusi huulipuna ei ole aivan luonnollisessa sävyssään muokkauksien takia mutta keväällä hankittu Viva La Divan väri sävyssä #57 Very Violet on ihan huippu!

My new lipstick isn't at it's most natural shade at these pictures due to editing but this new color I got is from Viva La Diva and is in shade #57 Very Violet and I absolutely adore it!

Nyt kun olen saapunut vihdoin kotiin, joudun kärsimään yksinäisyydestä vain yhden päivän sillä matkaan huomenna Vihdin suunnalle Sallaa tapamaan. Suunniteltu Tallinnan matka siirtyi hieman systeemin kusemisen johdosta mutta yritämme varmasti lahden taakse piakkoin uudestaan. Sen jälkeen onkin synttäreitä ja häitä ja kaikenlaista humputusta luvassa, fingers crossed että minäkin pääsen hieman istahtamaan alas viimeistään heinäkuussa!

Now that I'm finally home, I only have to endure the loneliness for a day since I'm heading off to Vihti tomorrow to visit Salla. The trip to Tallinn that was planned had to be rescheduled but I'm sure we'll get there this summer. After that I'll have all kinds of nonsense to attend to, birthdays, weddings...fingers crossed I'll have time to just sit down and be for a while during July!

After a darn long time I finally got to play with Katy's hair again. It smells like shit here in the countryside and Tauski Rooster made it's escape right before Finland-Austria hockey match. I'm sensing summer.

Unfortunately all the inspiration and the genius post ideas I had earlier have completely vanished and I seem to have nothing interesting to share with you guys  :c so i finally decided to get back to these liebster awards we've been getting this year. I'm aware that these actually are meant for both of us but it seems that Nilla is taking a bit of a break from blogging now so i decided to share some facts by myself this time.

What is your everyday makeup?

Unfortunalely after entering high school I've become surprisingly lazy with make up! Like I've mentioned before, more than often I only have 30 minutes to get myself ready and even I can't make miracles happen in half an hour.

This is what usually goes onto my face on a regular school day, apparently I've forgotten my foundation from this picture but I doubt it was anything interesting to see anyway so :D I'm totally in love that pink eyeshadow which is Lumene's blueberry crystal eyeshadow, shade 29 (clover field) I use it as a blusher too, a little glitter never hurts my cheeks :')!

I like to focus either on my eye make up or my lips, pumping both of them up full of color might be a bit showy for my liking. I'm a real lipstick junkie, I have approximately 4 lipsticks on my purse every day!

Favorite book?

This is hard! I love many books, especially everything which has something to do with north korea or dictatorships in general. My current favorite however, would be this

Kalpeat Sotilaat by Pekka Jaatinen (only in Finnish, unfortunately!) which tells a story of two young men who get addicted to heroin during the winter war and their lives after they've been released from the battlefield.

Where would you like to travel?

Right now anywhere really! I've been having a really high travelling fever and almost any country would do...But places I've always liked to see would be Tokyo, Pyongyang, Tshernobyl, Berlin, Amsterdam and then of course Seattle so I'd see my lovely friend Adam ♥ But even that list is not complete, being abroad is always so exiting!

Next year I'll see these breathtaking landscapes Scotland has to offer. If nothing terrible happens, haha.

What is your passion?

Lol what is that? No but seriously, I'm afraid I don't have any. I don't think I enjoy any things to the fullest, so I am not passionate about anything. There are many things I like, but maybe my passion is still waiting to be discovered...

When you started to write your blog?

A little over a year ago, I can't believe it's been that long!

...And why?

Honestly I have absolutely no idea. I've had numerous blogs earlier, many of them with zero readers and a short life ahead of them. But those were different blogs, they weren't that personal and I never showed my face around there, not only because I thought I looked like shit back then but also because I was so young. As I started with this blog I was in that point of my life were I had grew a bit, my confidence was better and I had started to experiment with my style and I finally kinda looked the way I wanted to look. So I guess this page is for documenting my growing with style. There's no doubt I've always loved fashion, but nowadays I feel comfortable to actually wear those things I've always dreamed about.

Well I have no hidden piercings in funny places so I bet you've all seen mine already? :D I currently have a birdge piercing, labret and 9 earrings. I had a smiley for a year but took it off after I got the labret since they occasionally got tangled XD

5 favorite movies?

First of all I have to say, I am not a movie person. It requires a lot of talent to keep me interest thoughout the whole story and usually i end up falling asleep during movies. But unfortunately for me, my best friend's a movie enthusiastic so I still have to watch them pretty often :D So here goes 5 movies I watched through and didn't get bored:

Sunny weather definitely, it has a huuge impact on my moods and I feel really peaceful and relaxed every time I see sunshine even if only through the window glass

Klara vappen jee

Hiljaiseloa on ollut, hehhe, mutta tällä kertaa jopa syystä! Sain nimittäin taas vieraita pari viikkoa sitten ja aikani on kulunut lähinnä oman kullan kainalossa...niin ja oon mä yrittänyt koulussakin aina välillä käydä. 

Vappu tosiaan oli taas tänäkin vuonna, en hirveesti oo sitäkään yleensä juhlistanu mutta oon viime vuosina aika aktiivisesti ollut innoissani kaikista ylimääräsistä vapaapäivistä joita vaan tarjotaan. Päätettiin siis ottaa ilo irti ja mentiin piknikille läheiseen leikkipuistoon. Avasin tuona samaisena päivänä myös rullaluistelukauden! (yritän rynnätä heti derbyjoukkueeseen kun täytän 18 XD)

The 1st of May is a national holiday in Finland and we decided to take advantage of this with the girls and go -not drinking but to a picnic on a nearby playground. (yes it's a playground not a savanna even though it might seem like it lol) I also opened my roller skating season that day! Hoping to get into a roller derby team when I turn 18 XD

Yritin olla niin himpskutin kesäinen tämän kevään ja kommunismin ilojuhlan takia, mutta päädyin hieman katumaan valintaani tuolla aukealla leikkipuistolla, oli pikkasen tuulista ja peruukkikin käyttäytyi vähän oman mielensä mukaan...pääsin kuitenkin ensi kertaa ulkoiluttamaan tuota kukkamekkoani jonka anastin viime kesänä Katariinalta. Oon kesäisin sataprosenttisen mekkoihminen, kolttu niskaan vaan ja baanalle, ei sitä jaksa lomaillessa hirveesti yhdistellä eri ala- ja yläosista mitään eeppisiä asukokonaisuuksia...

Huomasittekos muuten uuden layouttini jonka tässä väsäsin muutamia viikkoja sitten? En tosiaankaan ole mikään koodailujen mestari, joten jouduin ajoittain käymään aikamoista tappeluakin tämän kanssa, mutta siinä se nyt möllöttää! Entinen väliaikainen ehtikin siinä jo vuoden päivät olla, pakko sanoa että itse tykkään kyllä tästä nykyisestä enemmän. Mielestäni jotenkin selkeämpi! Mitä te tykkäätte?

I tried to be so damn summery during this celebration of spring and communism but I ended up regretting it a bit on that open and windy playground. Even by wig wanted to live its own life out there...Well at least I got to wear the floral dress I stole from Katy last year the first time ever. I'm all about dresses during the summertime, I'm waay too lazy to play with all kinds of tops and bottoms in order to create an epic outfit during my holiday..

Oh and did you notice my new layout already? I'm by no means the queen of coding so I put lots of blood sweat and tears into this but there it is now! I had the previous "temporary" layout for a year so it's a fucking time for a change already :P I like this new one much more, it's somehow neater I dunno. What do you think?

Oltiin tipujen kanssa pääsiäisviikonlopun keskellä koluamassa joitakin turun kirpputoreista ja nyt taitaa selvästi olla onnenkeijut puolellani, sillä löysin oikeasti jotain kivaa!

Kermanvärinen mekkoihanuus sai aikaan sydämentykytyksiä, vintagetyyliset vaatteet ovat olleet kovassa fanituksessa näin kevään korvilla. Hintaakin oli vain pari euroa niin mukaanhan se sitten lähti!

During the "easter weekend" we had a little thrift store shopping spree with the chicks. It seems like the luck is really on my side these days, since I actually found some really cool stuff! One of them is this cream colored summer dress which totally melt my heart! Vintage-style clothing has been my favorite during this spring so it was perfect for my liking! The price was right too, so of course I had to have it.

Kangas on yllättävän hyvälaatuisen oloista ja pitsikin tyllipitsiä sen iänikuisen polyesterin sijaan. Epäilen silti tämän olevan erään ruotsalaisen massavaateketjun tuotantoa, kaikki laput oli pois leikattu mutta jäljelle jääneet merkit viittaavat vahvasti H&M:än puolelle. Sääli sinänsä, oishan se melko makeeta omistaa jotain _oikeesti vintagea

The fabric seems very good quality and even the lace is tulle lace instead of that icky polyester. However I'm pretty convinced this piece is of clothing is by a certain swedish clothing chain. The dress had all the labels cut out but I'm seeing some signs that this might be by H&M. Kinda pity though, it would've been pretty cool to own something _real vintage.

Mä yritän niin kovasti jättää tälläset laukomiset omaan arvoonsa mutta näitä lukiessa alkaa vaan oksettaa. Mä en ymmärrä miten jo 15 vuotias ihminen ei osaa ajatella rationaalisesti omilla aivoillaan? Rehellisesti sanottuna mä en edes ymmärrä miten joku voi tosissaan laukoa tälläsia juttuja? Mikä saa ihmisen ajattelemaan noin? Kun ei tossa oo ees mitään järkeä. Itkettää ku suututtaa niin saatanasti. 

Nii joo plus helvetin rasittavaa kun ihmisiä ei vois vittuukaan kiinnostaa raamattu, raamatun opit tai Jumala yleensäkään mutta HETI kun vastaan tulee asia, muutos tai ilmiö joka saa heidät epämukavaksi niin kas kummaa sieltä se Raamattu vaan esiin pompahtaa. Jos sä et itse elä sen koko saatanan satukirjan mukasesti ni et voi vittu toisiltakaan sitä odottaa.

Knowing your style

 En ole koskaan halunnut olla yhden tyylin orja. Vaikka pahimmat teini-iän kriisit ovatkin ohi ja osaan suunnilleen hahmottaa, mikä minulle sopii, en siltikään osaa valita vain sitä yhtä tyylisuuntausta, joka miellyttäisi silmääni. Joskus haluan pukeutua kokonaan mustaan nahkaan, toisinaan vintage-tyyli inspiroi kun taas joinain päivinä olen lähes vakuuttunut siitä, että pastellisävyt ja söpöily on juttuni. 

I've never wanted to stick with only one style. Even though my worst teenage fashion crises are over and I pretty much know what suits me, I still cannot stick with only one fashion that pleases me. Sometimes I just want to do a full leather outfit, sometimes vintage inspires me and sometimes I'm nearly convinced that pastel colors and cutesy stuff is my thing.

Tänään näytin tältä. Yritin ehkä mahdollisesti vetää jonkin sortin neo-vintagekampauksen tuohon ronskin pvc:n kanssa. Mietin semileikilläni että pitäis oikein tehä ohjekirjoitus kaikille, jotka haluavat selvitä tämännäköiseksi noin 25:ssä minuutissa. Tunnetusti rakastan pitkään nukkumista ja mun mielestä on aikamoinen saavutus, että kerkiän edes näin paljon laittautumaan aamuisin!

For example, me today with this kind of neo-vintage hairstyle with pvc. (I was kinda thinking that maybe I should do a tutorial how to doll yourself up when you've got only 25 minutes time! Everyone knows I love sleeping late in the mornings and I think it's pretty impressive how much I can work on my looks before rushing to school!)

 Kannustan ehdottomasti muitakin pitämään mielensä avarana ja fuusioimaan tyyliänsä oman mielensä mukaan. Ehkä ei ole viisasta haalia ensin vaatekkaappi täyteen tyylin x vaatteita ja aloittaa koko garderoobin uusiminen heti kun viikon päästä tyyli y alkaa miellyttämään, mutta yhdistellä rohkeasti asuihin sellaisiakin elementtejä, jotka eivät ensisilmäyksellä tulisi kysymykseenkään! Esimerkiksi viikonloppuna netissä haahuilessani törmäsin ihan mahtavaan "hippi"gyaruun :D

I definitely encourage others too to keep your mind open and fuse different styles into your own thing! Maybe it's not so wise to hoard your closet full of style x stuff and then re-do it again when someting else inspires you but challenge yourself to mix and match, try something new that you'd never think would fit into your closet. For example this weekend, the wonderful world of internet offered me adorable pictures of a "hippie"gyaru :D

Toisinaan näytän tältä. Ehkä ihastuttavin takki jonka ikinä olen omistanut on fanplusfriendiltä (lolitaa iik!). Tästä huolimatta olen monien mielestä gootti. Yleensä silloin mä nauran aika lujaa.

 Just to celebrate spring I've been slowly but steadily bringing some dearly missed skirts into my outfits. (even though choosing the heels to go with is still a bit troubling!). It feels good to get back onto my feminine side, as I've been wandering around in pants through the whole winter. Booring. Talking of shoes, I really want to talk you about shoes. Because who doesn't want to talk about shoes they're simply awesome!!1

Omat lempiyksilöni. Sääli, että Suomen ilmastossa pitää ottaa sääolosuhteet huomioon kun ostaa kenkiä...

Muutama vuosi sitten olin vielä yksi niistä ihmisistä, jotka eivät kertakaikkiaan ymmärrä kenkien viehätystä. Sitten, itse asiassa Nillan tavattuani, maailma kääntyi päälaelleen ja huomasin, miten kivalta se tuntuu kun saa olla vähän pidempi, vähän naisellisempi ja vähän huolitellumpi. Ilman hiustenlaittoa ja oikeanlaisia kenkiä asukokonaisuuden wow-factor latistuu puoleen, ainakin jos minulta kysytään ja miksipä ei kysyttäisi :--)

Paljon on yksilöitä tässä maailmassa jotka vielä haluaisin, olisi varsin muikeaa omistaa täydelliset kengät joka päivään mutta todellisuus taitaa tulla tielle tässäkin asiassa ikävästi...Ellei musta sitten tule Christian Louboutinin bestis niin kuin Dita von Teesestä..

Few years ago I was one of those people who really don't give a damn about shoes. Then, after I met Nilla to be more spesific, my world turned upside down and I noticed the joys of heels. She created a true monster! It feels great to be a little taller and a little more feminine. Tässä vielä muutamia, joista näen päiväunia. Kaikenlaiset soljet ja niittihärpäkkeet on aina jees, tykkään ehkä eniten tollaisista vähän "raskaammista" kengistä. Plato on plussaa, sillä on paljon mukavampi kävellä kun ei tunne jokasta tien kiveä suoraan päkiössä...plus se on sata kertaa seksikkäämpi kuin se, että ois ilman.

Itse asiassa koko tämän rantin inspis lähti siitä, kun suunnittelukursilla päädyin itse piirtelemään kenkiä. Työt saatiin tänään takaisin joten nyt mulla on myös kuvamateriaalia jee!

And here some more others that I dream about. All kinds of buckles and studs are totally my cup of tea, I think my preferences go more towards to the "heavy shoes". Platform is always a plus, really comfortable to walk in, plus you can't feel every stone you step on when you're on them.

Actually the whole inspiration to this rant came from when I ended up desinging shoes in arts claa. Today we got our sketches back so I finally have pictures of my work!

Luisevat popot on siis kyseessä, platformin ympäri kulkee "selkärankanauha" (hieno sana eikö, ihan ite keksin!) ja korkona toimii katkaistu "luunpala". Olen myös hyvin tietoinen että tuo korko kyllä oikeassa käytössä kuluisi mutta keksin siihen sitten sellaisen tarinan että tuolta sisältä tulee sellainen läpinäkyvä akryyliputki jossa on korkolappu! :---) ettäs tiedätte.

Otin vähän tälläisiä höpönlöpökuvia hermolomalla ollessani viime viikolla. En oikeastaan tykkää muuta kun tuosta ensimmäisestä otoksesta, mutta se näyttäisi varmasti kovin yksinäiseltä ilman noita muista, eikö? (Oi ja huomasitteko miten otsatukalle kävi? Hups!)

Mustat pilvet vaikuttavat seuraavan minua minne tahansa menen, kenen tahansa luokse pakenen. Uskon kuitenkin vakaasti että pohjalla ollaan käyty ja tästä suunta on vain ylöspäin.

14th the day of the Devil

Around February comes always the time when some people start complaining about the big V day. Some think it's just a stupid holiday made up by stores to get the consuming going and people to buy crap. Some just are generally desperate, because they have no one to spend it with. Really? Is that so? 

I mean i get it, some people are lonely and have no friends. It's sad and i know that, trust me I've been there. But the thing that actually bothers me with Valentines day is that people think of it as a holiday, made exclusively for couples and lovers. To my mind, that's some big bullshit! Whatever happened to spending time with your friends, telling them that "hey, you're pretty cool, i like you."?

 Of course some of you may think now yeah what does she know she's in a relationship but you know I have always thought Valentine's as a holiday of appreciation towards your loved ones. Friends, lovers, family whatever. This might be because I'm a Finn, Valentine's day translates to "A friend's day". So not to be rude here but people...don't swim in the pond of desparation just because you don't have that one love relationship but for fucks sake open your eyes (look up to the skies) and see the things you already have. There's always someone who loves you, I can and will guarantee that. If not, you should get a cat, they're really cuddly! ♥

And about the thing it's only to buy stuff...well let's just say that if your person cares about you they won't care if you give them a hug or "the perfect" factory-made gift X the shops want us to buy. This goes for every other holiday too, for example one of the coolest things you can get is a letter where they just remind you that you're important to them. Just try it, perfect way to make them teary, lol!

 so go ahead and print this out to the people you tolerate and forgive me my despicable positiveness but i neeeded to get that off my chest! Everyone have a great day ♥
